Mechanical pen is semi-automatic pen, you have to push it when the lead is used up. By automatic pen, it is automatic, there is no push action.

Features that distinguishes fully-antomatic pencila from conventional mechancial pencils:

There are three distinguishing features:

1.pencil tips:under pressure,the tip of a fully-automatic pencil extends and retracts with flexbility,whereas in the case of a mechanical pencil,the tip lacks the flexibility to extent are retract with ease "C this prevents the lead from coming out.

2.scripting process:a fully-automayic pencildoes not expose the lead tip and this prevents lead breakage even under great pressure.This allows the user to freely use softer leads(2B for example)and facilitates clearer print and at the same time,prevents wastage of broken lead.On the other hand , a mechanical pencil breaks easily and hampers smooth scripting and also wastes lead.

3.depending on how quickly the lead is worn out  during writing,the fully-automatic pencil regulates the amount of fresh lead being pushed out without the need for the user to press the pencil cap.This primotes smooth and unbroken thought process in the user.A mechanical pencil lacks this automatic function and much time and trouble are wastes on pressing out the lead;the user's thought process is also easily broken.

Intructions for use of the  fully-automatic pencil :

1.remove pencil cap and eraser tip and insert fresh lead (max.5)into pencil chamber .

2.replace eraser and cap:press pencil cap several times till lead appears at pencil tip without the lead tip being exposed.The pencil is now ready for prolonged usage.3.depending on how quickly the lead is worn out during writing.the fully,automatic pencil regulates the  amount of fresh lead being pushed out without the need for the user to press the pencil cap.

4.when not in use :placing pencil tip on a hard surface,press the cap and retract tip for protability and tidiness.
